Cable Raju (Allu Arjun) , Vijay Chakravarthy (Manoj Manchu), Amalapuram Saroja (Anushka) and an old man — these are the main characters of multi-starrer ‘Vedam’ coming in the direction of Radhakirshna Jagarlamudi (Krish). Amalapuram Saroja is a prostitute played by the reigning star Anushka Shetty. The character, in addition to portraying the problems faced by a prostitute in her daily life, also tells that she has something useful to the society. What is her ‘Vedam?’ We have to wait till May 20 to know about it.

Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi (Krish), director of the Best Film Nandi Award winner -Gamyam, is now engaged in the making of his next project ‘Vedam.’ The film which is now closer to completion is a multi-starrer with Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.

‘Vedam’ revolves around five main characters – Cable Raju (done by Allu Arjun), a cable operating guy, Vivek Chakravarthy (done by Manoj Manchu) -a rising rock star, Saroja (done by Anushka) a prostitute and the other two characters are done by Manoj Bajpai and an other prominent actor.

Shooting part of the film has been completed. Re-recording works are currently in progress. Music is by MM Keeravani while cinematography is done by Gnana Sekhar. Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda are jointly producing this film under Arka Mediaworks banner. Film release is planned on May 20.
